"I told a guy that I thought would be a fling
that I was born and raised in the same area as
he. I faked an accent and made fun of that
area. It was very funny to play around for a
bit because I didn't plan to get serious
with him. I found out I was pregnant and
still didn't tell him the truth, until a
year later after I introduced him to my mom and
dad, a VERY European elderly couple who talked
of my childhood and it was obvious I could
never have been to the place he was born. On
the drive home I confessed that it was a lie.
After a long pause his response was, "Did you
make up liking sports too?""
